Rwanda Huye Mountain

We're excited to bring you this lovely coffee from Rwanda. It's not the easiest coffee region to access, as this tiny landlocked country (about the size of Maryland) has had it's share of hardships and corruption over the last century, colonial rule then genocide and economic collapse, greatly affecting coffee farmers and their crops.  Rwandan coffee production has come back strong and high quality and this coffee we have for you is no exception. 

Huye Mountain coffee is a private washing station established in 2011 to provide farmers in the region with access to international markets and buyers of specialty coffees. Farmers are supported by various initiates of the Rwandan government and various non-profit organizations that support their success. 

Rwandan coffee is now known for it's unique flavor profiles, quality over quantity and distinct regional characteristics.  It consistently rank among the finest in the world and we're excited to share this one with you.
